The legendary textile and clothing designer, Mariano
Fortuny (1871-1949), recaptured the golden age in the
sumptuous Fortuny lamps. Opalescent silk stretches over a
balanced wire form, creating a dazzling silhouette. The silk is
hand-painted in motifs inspried from his fascination with Oriental art as well as from the antique roots of Occidental art.
